Unfortunately I'm not a camaro owner, but I've just bought a house with this in the loft...

I'm sure it's an air filter housing but have no idea what it fits or what it's from.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Gavin

Hello and welcome! You are right, it is an air filter housing but I'm not aware of any that came with the car name (Camaro) so I suspect that's a later addition. Looks a bit small to me so maybe off a 6 cylinder car originally. Can you post a pic of the underside, esp. the hole for the carb?
Cheers, Martin

Isn't that off a 305 TBI engine?

You could be right there, but I'm sticking with my first gut feeling on this, the small hole looks like it's for a 1V carb like on the straight six engines.
Cheers, Martin

Unfortunately the house was rented for about 14 years and had various different tenants.
With all the other crap that was in the loft sat this and an old reel to reel tape recorder.
Is this worth anything at all?
Seems to be in fairly good nick other than a few small dents etc.
Thanks for all your help so far :)
