Car Details:1983 Chevy G20 305 4bbl 700R4 - A-Team Van sucker!
Location:Isle of Man
Ford Crown Victoria "P71" Police Spec, first registered 01/01/2001 in Potosi, Washington County, Missouri.

4.6V8 engine, column auto with O/D, usual P71 extras like stiffer springs, extra oil cooling etc....I get 18mpg local commuting, high 20's on the Motorway.

It still has the County Sheriff decals and license plate. I have fitted an LED Lightbar which has numerous patterns, some LED grill lights (3 patterns), windshield LED (3 patterns), Unity Spotlight, siren/PA, & centre console to make it more authentic once again.

Car has just hit 140K but runs beautifully and is a dream to drive. as you know, when in service these cars recieve regular servicing, maintenance and it shows. Interior is very clean, no wear on the seats etc. Some ex Cop cars really look like they've been on the beat, this looks like a big fat Sheriff rode around looking important in it!

Car recently passed the Isle of Man import roadworthy test, MUCH stricter version of MOT so you know its in good order. All it need was e-brake adjusting on one side (lack of use I guess!)

Ideally, I'd like to swap/p-ex for something older, a Caddy for my wife or something more Muscular for me, maybe something I can add to my Wedding Hire fleet!

If you just want to buy it, then its £6495 - I'll even throw in the handcuffs!

Some photos on here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3217311 (some video of lights flashing) and here http://www.starridercars.com/sheriff.htm

I have both the shiny wheel covers and a set of dog dish caps too.

ps - if you are thinking of doing a Cop car, and look at buying a civilian CV (LX model etc), then to do it right, you need to make a whole lot of changes to the base car, the exterior is wrong, the interior is wrong, the mechanicals are different, wheels, decals.....etc......that's why the P71 Cop Spec cars are more expensive than the Civy Crown Vics. :( ;)

Aircon is running nice and cold, electric driver's seat....the P71 (Cop Spec) has a dual exhaust system, the civilian CV's are single.
