not been b4 and its going to be a boneshaker of a ride in the defender...

How far have you got go to get to hopfarm ??
For me its about 120miles but not in a defender thankfully
As for the show its massive in the past I've been there for 4 days and still not seen all there is to see
Best advice is to make a weekend of it bit pricey but well worth it
Oh and don't forget wellies/waders may be req as last year it rained for weeks before the show and all the tanks etc turned it into the Somme

I want it muddy as poss. if i go in the defender Kent is not that far 2 hours max...took the defender to somerset 2 years ago and its fine on A roads but a pain on motorways......

Day parking and the campsite was ok
But every where else where you have to walk to see the static stuff ,trade stands,livin history,live arena etc was well churned up had to demud the radio flyer many times that weekend

Some images I took on a visit to Oradour Sur Glane in France. It's a village that has been preserved since the 2nd world war. The Germans arrived on day, rounded up all the inhabitants & killed them. They then torched all of the buildings.
It's a really spooky sort of place even now. The strange thing is, there are no birds whistling anywhere.

Nige i think there was a docu on tv about that village im not sure but feels like ive seen that place before
