strangely, even though many 2nd Gen 'brids ditch their Turbo, the ones that still have the original engine are now becoming a rare find, so the Turbo is probably only of value to someone with the right car and a failed engine/turbo!!!!!! My friend had a turbo model but it had a 6.6 in it, and he was pleased that the previous owner had done it, he was prepared to pay more for a 1980 with a 6.6, that a 4.9 even though it wasn't no# matching etc.
I guess its like most early version of these things, like the Crossfire being an early TPI/TBI type engine, they had a go, it didn't go so well, so they either refine it or dump it! Having said that, my Ceasefire, sorry, Crossfire is problem free so far in the T/A. _________________ Steven
