Hi, sorry for taking so long to answer but my computers still up the creek & is away being repaired, so I have to borrow one to get on here.
To be honest it's a hard question to answer as there are so many variables. If you compare the price to a Mustang then it's fairly cheap compared the prices some of them are fetching now, but as Camaro's go it's probably a very good price for an extremely good 2nd gen. But, if you were to try to replicate that car & rebuild one from the ground up, it'd probably cost you an awful lot more by the time you buy the car, body panels, running gear, trim etc plus the labour for someone to do it all & paint it.
This really is a decision that only you can make. If you need the money, or if you want a change then it's probably a very good offer, although I would haggle & try to get more for it
( I know someone that was offered £50K for their 1st gen, but had £50K tied up in it to build it). If you're happy with the car & don't need the money then hold on to it, & enjoy it. It's only going to appreciate in value if it's kept in good condition, but it may take a while before the right buyer comes along & offers you that sort of money again. I Hope that helps in some way
. If you were to sell it would you buy/build another car? Cheers........Nige
