My car is currently having a face transplant due to a mechanic's heavy right foot and I have most parts except for the whole headlight assembly. Does anyone happen to know of any headlights and mountings available? I've seen aftermarket ones (including LED) from the US that look quite good but not sure if they conform to EU standards. Anyone got any advice on where I can go with it?

Cheers

Chris

Start looking at the breaking for spares cars on ebay. Buying new sealed lights will cost a bomb. I remember paying £50 for a right hand spec low beam a few years ago.

Yeah I've noticed that it could end up expensive. Annoyingly I can get the headlight mounting panel in US for about $30, but they want $200 shipping. Was one camaro on eBay for breaking but it seems the headlights are the first to go.

Can someone tell me the dimensions of the front of the headlight units? I just wonder if there's a universal type that might fit with a bit of modification

Yeah it's the pre 1997 lights. I saw that one on eBay but unfortunately the lighting assembly has all gone. Just got to keep hunting I guess.
Saw another one on eBay but it too seems to have lost its face.
