Just wonder who people mostly use for parts?
If in the UK, who?
If USA, how do you go about shipping?

Any meets that people goto from off the sites?
I'm Derby based so any area east midlands would be great to know?i know there's sub section about most of these but it's a fairly slow movin forum so figured I would put a post up asking everything

Thanks, Carl.

We're currently having talks with various parts suppliers to come on board as advertisers/sponsors. As soon as we have it sorted we'll post up the news,....Watch this space

In the meantime I would recommend NPD if you want to deal direct with the USA. Their parts are good quality & the service is second to none. They take out all of the possible hassle from buying abroad, you just give the part numbers of what you want from their catalogues (online or paper backed) & they'll do the rest.

cheers...Nige

I've grown to be very impressed with rockauto.co.uk - often had parts arrive inside 2 days from the US, duties paid and all.
Very often comparable or cheaper than some of the UK suppliers.
I've also had great experiences with Ultimate Spares of America and USAutomotive - although the latter isn't cheap.

Car Details:68 pontiac firebird coupe project car,my aim is a street friendly, lightly modified pro.touring style.
Lowered ,mild body mods,400 cu in SBC engine, Muncie 4speed, 10 bolt posi axle, disc front drum rear.
68 firebird convertible ( long term project) Stock resto/mod style ,400 pontiac th350
Have used Summit and Jegs in the States
With both order online, pay with your card, and your parts will arrive very quickly.
Had good dealings with both companies, also Ecklers/Rick's Camaros are good as well.

I'll second Jegs too. I got my poly bush kit through them, but had a bit of a hassle with my Visa Debit and ended up doing a bank transfer which cost me a small fortune.
They were hugely helpful and apologetic, chucked in a baseball cap, a catalogue and some stickers with the order. Just really nice people to talk to as well.
Sadly, I've not been back to them but I'd gladly recommend their customer service.
