Totally off car topic folks. Now I'm going to go all Barry Norman ( no I'm not reviewing some arty French film no one goes to see)
The latest Bond film Skyfall, the news Javier Bardem has received a Bafta nod has stretched the hype too far! Although a good(ish) film I still think Casino Royale is still Daniel Craig's best outing as Bond. But still no where as good as From Russia With Love. For plot style and believable baddies!!
So who's your favourite Bond and what film? No one dare say The Spy Who Loved Me or Moonraker!!

Agreed - Skyfall was good, one of the top Bond films for sure, but the hype was a little bit much. Casino Royale was definitely my fave. Grew up watching them but can't remember most of them that well. Will need to rewatch before i commit to a fave I do remember there being a Boss / Mach 1 Mustang in Diamonds are Forever?

I agree also...Casino Royale was by far the best of the modern James bond films. My all time favourite though has to be Goldfinger.

Probably 'Live and let Die' for me... cheesy as hell if you see it now, but it was the first Bond film I sae a nipper so must be nostalgic reasons. ..

All of DC's films were good but casino royale was the better

I haven't seen many bond films as I've only watched ones with Connery, Moore and Craig.

Now don't kick me on this one guys as I must have been about 10 years old when I watched this bond film.
Rog was being chased by bikers whilst he was on skis, a dove pin and a tidy figure skater ??
Seemed pretty good at the time but I have learnt my lesson on rewatching films from when i was a kid. I no longer do it as it ruins the memory of the film as you realise the film was actually pants.

Convoy soundtrack was the first CD i ever bought! Re-watched the film about a year ago, i wouldn't say it ruined it for me personally, but it didn't live up to the memory that's for sure. Did anyone catch Smokey and the Bandit 2 over Christmas? They also showed Hooper strangely enough!

I didn't see much telly at all over Xmas

But back to the film convoy when I rewatched it I couldn't believe how short it was approx 50 mins ???
