Hi guys, My car is an 81 Z28 Camaro, disc brakes all round,

when I got the car most of the parking brake cables were not attached

The one from the parking brake pedal goes down and under the car (around the drivers seat area) to a kind of T style bracket, from there I had nothing else.

I have 2 brand new cables from the caliper but seem too short or I am missing something?.

Does anyone have a schematic diagram of the rear brake cable route? I bought a haynes manual but they dont show discs brakes on the rear or cable routing.

much appreciated guys!
Andee

I'm guessing the cable routing is the same for disc/drum, but would have different ends on the rear brake plates..

Hi Chevy-Stu, thanks for the reply,
if it is the same I appear to be missing number 2.. any ideas if this is a cable or rod?

I certainly have 7,8,9,10 and 11 under the car.

I also have 2 cables that come from the calipers however they are too short :/

Thanks
Andy

I think 2 are the cables that run from the splitter/adjuster down to each rearside... so definately steel cables.

I'll try and have a look under mine when I can to check...
