Hi all,

Hoping to get a measurement from 2nd gens please - Looking at the gap between the top of the door and the A pillar. I'm trying to line up the fender but not sure if the door is too low. I've already forgotten what the caliper gauge said but i think it was about 9mm

This is the bit i mean:

Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

Hi Ray..

Mine's 12mm drivers side, 9mm passenger side... (but the panel fit on mine is shocking cos' of all the action it gets.. )

I'm sure I read on Nasty Z28 about hanging panels that your supposed line the door with the rear quarter and sill, then mount the front wing against the door etc...

Hi Ray, as Stu says always gap from the 1/4 panel/sills to the door as the 1/4 & sills are fixed & constant. Make sure that the swage line that runs down the centre of the door lines up with the one on the 1/4. The gap to the sill is normally around 7 mm or so. The gap between door & 1/4 would also be around 7-8 mm hth

cheers...Nige
