Just been prepping my IROC for MOT after about a year of it sitting in the barn not doing anything. It looks like a dirty contact on the horn and a headlight out is the worst of my worries

Does anyone know a good source of headlights for third gens? I'm looking for original style ones, not HID/Angel Eye/Boy Racer modern type ones that can easily be found on eBay. Four new from the same manufacturer would be ace as currently mine are obviously a hodge podge of different types...

Cheers

I got a dip beam h/light from american technique (rocky) recently for 30 quid ! They are quite common on 80's motors so you should be able to find some.
cheers Al

Cheers for the responses, guys.

Managed to dig out an old spare which did the job, but I'll know where to get hold of new ones now.

MOT ahoy!

I can get new or some secondhand. Does look good when you fit all new ones but can work out expensive.

Hawks lights will be US spec beam.

Cheers, Rocky.

I've decided against re-doing all four for now. I noticed the low beams have extra bulbs drilled into them to pass SVA and/or MOT? I'd rather not muck about trying to fit these extra bulbs in a fresh pair of lights if I don't really need to.

If they are sidelights the UK spec lamps have these already fitted.
