Well, it's been a long time since an update, but the car is finally painted, and an escape tunnel was built underneath the spray shop, so the car could escape

Interior is off to the trimmers for some well needed TLC.

Currently listing all things that need to be done, and breaking it up into sections for the rebuild.

Found out that the numpty at the bodyshop lifted my engine out, all those years ago, by putting a hefty chain under the front pulley, and one round the sump. There's an oil leak at the pulley end...just hoping the crank has not been damaged

You're alive! Good to hear from you

Not good about the engine removal. Hope it's only the casing that's been damaged.

Any pics of the paint job?

How long's the list of things that need doing?

Cheers for the update!

Quick update, car back on the road last year, mainly driving it to iron out any issues. Due to come out of storage in the next few weeks, and will be able to crack on doing the sound deadening, in preparation for the interior install. Loads of other things to do as well, one is to get the manual box installed at some point!

Hope everyone is well!

Cheers,
Mark

Crikey that's a blast from the past! Good to hear from you Mark  Sounds like it's almost there, will it see the road this year?

Hey Mark, good to hear you eventually overcame all issues. Hope you are enjoying the car, it's been a long time coming.
Cheers, Martin
