Car Details:1988 IROC-Z, custom interior from the 90s.
Anyone got a rear bumper cover for a 3rd gen IROC-Z?
In black, with the 5.7 TPI call out, if possible. I'm not so fussed about the colour, but I'd like to keep the 5.7 decal.

Cheers.

Yeah I guess I could - it's nicely worn. The gold's practically gone.
Just didn't want to end up with the wrong bumper, don't know if the other spaces are the same shape, that was all.

Basically, because a 4x4 wouldn't reverse up a hill to let me pass (my right of way too) I had to reverse round a corner on a tight, steep road and scuffed the rear. The urethane's punctured.

Thought a new cover would be cheaper than the repair -

Looks like an easy repair, and you can buy the rear emblems brand new for about £20 from the states..

Is it actually holed? It wont be worth repairing if it is as you wont get rid of the witness mark if its just scuffed you could re-paint.
Modern day muscle will do a genuine GM one.

Couldn't see anything on modern day muscle, so I'll be keeping an eye on eBay in case anything comes up.
Might speak to my body shop about it. The crazing you can see in the paint was there already, so it was sort on the list of jobs (way down though).
Cheers all.

You will need to take it down to the plastic anyway to get rid of the crazing otherwise it will just come back through the fresh paint, If you do that and then see how bad the damage is and go from there.

Managed to source a cover and wing piece for ~£100 delivered!
This makes me happy.
