Car Details:Camaro phoenix project will rise soon enough
OK thinking of selling my late 2nd gen Camaro as not looking like getting it finished in the near future.

So its a complete car some rust spots as have found at the boot opening, and also at the lower rear passenger side arch (small hole)

Well its not a basket case as it sounds, its all there have keys, V5 in my name and a fully rebuilt 350 block

last year I got the engine put in properly along with the TH400 box. The previous and apparent rebuild wasnt what the company said it was so had the entire block sorted:
Bores now to 60th
new pistons
new rings
new crank from last build but engine was not used
new shells
new waterpump
rebuilt heads
new plugs
new battery
edelbrock performer intake
matching edelbrock performer cam
edelbrock chrome air filter.
Headman headers linked to old 22guage pipecraft steel system which has cherry boms so dont start the engine @ 4am unless you are in the middle of nowhere!
Prop modified and th400 slip yolk.
Radiator rebuilt and recored
all AC removed from car.
shot blasted front end (rad support and metal bumper section, with recent inner arches have been given same treatment)

Bought a new carb and fitted but engine still backfires through carb as it was either the old carb or the ignition!
so may need a new hei dizzy or dialing in and the carb setting up?
have a accel dualpoints dizzy and coil if you wanted to get shot of the hei

car has 2 sets of wheels -
set 1 on the car are dual bolt pattern chrome (pitting) 15" rims with fat tires
set 2 is 4x 15" 3rd gen Gold 5 spoke alloys no tires.

have a set of new door rubbers
new drivers door handle
glass fibre boot lid with spoiler
glass fiber front wings never drilled / painted etc.
full set of replacement door pins

started to remove the carpet as was falling apart to survey the floors and all look good (silver paint)
car appears to have been a few colours butis currently a blue ./ purple hue - some scrapes on the doors of the paint and the hood / bonet from a carb backfire
also will need drivers side tail light replaced as the reverse lens is broken

so what am i looking for well ideal world maybe a 2 for 1 option ie a motorbike and another car ie mini mogy or bug ie something simple on the bike side a shaft drive yamaha diversion 900 / honda ntv of not to gallactic milage.
Or cash and either of the above options.(£2500?)

Car is based in West Sussex nr Gatwick

cheers
Andy

Sorry to hear you have to let this one go :( I think you can ask for a bit more though , try just a touch over 3k as you'll get haggled down anyway.

Not sure if i read the ad right, but did you say that you also have a fibre glass bootlid and wings i.e they aren't on the car? I would be interest in these 3 items if you are able to part with them separate to the car?

Cheers!

Ray
