Hi All,

I didn't know but apparently with a free PhotoBucket account your bandwidth is limited (or for want of a better description i am limited to the number of hits my pics can have per month).

I have been told that when my account next refreshes which may be a couple of days or could be a couple of weeks all my pics will reappear or if i pay PhotoBucket a monthly fee they will reappear immediately.

To cut a long story short a friend of mine saw the pics and asked me if it was ok if he put a link on R'n'S to the pics on the Nostalgia Nats thread, and looking at the number of active users the site has had in the last 24hours i guess a couple of hundred people from R'n'S popped over here for a look hence my bandwidth allocation has been used up.

Obviously this is far from an ideal situation for all concerned. This is all new to me but i have had a few suggestions made to get around the problem so i am working on them at the moment.

Hopefully i will have something resolved shortly. Sorry to all for the inconveinience.

If you're having limits imposed on photobucket, maybe open a few picture hosting accounts, Flickr, Webshots etc.. to spread the load so to speak..

Hi Chevy-Stu,

Normaly i would say you were right, however my photo threads are generaly quite big threads. Photobucket will only allow me 10GB bandwidth per month, if i post up say 200 pics at approx 2mb per picture and you look at them all , you would use up 400mb of my bandwidth times that by 200 people looking that is 80,000mb of my bandwidth gone in one night.

Looks like i will have to pay for a pro account with unlimited bandwidth, not the end of the world just have to bung PB about $50 for the priviledge.

Hope to have things rectified over the weekend.
