Car Details:Early build (Oct 1967) 1968 Z28 302 Camaro, Teal Blue.
Location:Hampshire
I've decided to put up for sale my early build, LA Van Nuys built (Oct 67) 1968 Z28 Camaro in original and very rare Teal Blue. Allegedly only 3 68 Z28’s now exist in this colour.

If you have read the 150th Edition of Classic American Magazine you can read the full story behind the car and the 3 ½ years it took to restore it to this exacting detail. The car won Classic American’s car of the Year Competition 2011 plus picking up various awards from other shows along the way.

I put a ridiculous amount of time, effort; research and energy not mention money in restoring this car back to how it would have been in 1968 (or better according to the CA judges). I have owned many cars over the years and my main driver behind this project was to restore a car that was as perfect as possible in every detail and free from any old car niggles which most restored cars have, to which I feel I have now achieved.

If you haven’t seen my car in the metal, then ask someone who has seen the car before and they will give you their unbiased opinion. The car is completely fault free, drives perfectly as you would expect and is technically correct apart from the tyres and headers, although they are period style and an original car through and through with its original low mileage numbers matching MO 302 engine.

Z28’s of this standard and don’t be confused by the also ran’s that are in the US as I have seen them; go for around the $76,000 - $80,000 mark.

It’s worth mentioning that the car was extensively restored with a great deal of help by Martin Savill of Rare Performance Motors if you would like to gain his professional opinion.

If you are serious about owning probably the best in Europe and potentially as good as any top US restoration then call me on +44(0)7717 446985 or email gav440rt@hotmail.com and I will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

Offers Circa £50k

Thanks,

Gavin.

Yes it was the old Bunny Huns car that I bought in pieces. No project in mind just yet, I'm still recovering from this one...

Gavin.
