dont worry Butch is HSCC
Really? I was under the impression that Butch has a new engine with more power than the previous, which was 500+? I would love to know how this is done within HSCC regs.
I don't expect you to divulge any secrets here, but stock heads, rods, crank, block, no roller cam, no roller rockers and dual plane intake with 600 Holley is what I've been told to use. :?
I'm not going to rule out trying Bernie's events but I do feel like I would be bringing a knife to a gunfight
Cheers, Martin

Hi Butch's engine hails from 2000 and is now on its third rebuild since then (talk to the Mustang guys about this longevity - and they weep)

As I said the plan is to have room for everyone and classes for all types of Camaro

There are plenty of Hotrods there but there again some really quick FIA Corvettes

so do please come out and play

It would be easy to get upset about what the other Camaros are running: 16 and 17 inch wheels with consequent brake improvements seriously moved about main components (engines back feet) etc etc.

But that in my mind is to miss the point of Bernie's racing - as I see it the plan is to have classes for all including FIA and equivalent cars. And the prizes are drawn from a hat after the event (for the sponsors' goodies)- which does undermine the winning mentality. But Perhaps I am the only Camaro running genuine 15 inch wheels - but having these should be a key determinant in deciding the class that a Camaro must run in?
The Bernie races are bedding in - but give the (lovely) guy some credit - he has produced something we all dreamed off in 1992 at that inaugural HARA meet at BH in 2012....................... and I gather the races went down a storm with Autopress- check it out it this weeks Autosport??

Come and playeeeee...............
