What events are you likely to be attending this year??

Depending on when it's finished I want to take in a few sprints with the Camaro. I'm also hoping to get to the NSRA Nostalgia Nats at Shakespear County Raceway on June 27-28th to see what it'll run over the 1/4 mile. Probably try the NSRA Hot Rod Drags at Shakespear Raceway as well on September 18-20th. Might take in a few shows as well. What shows would you recommend to others, cheers.......Nige

I tend to go to the Corvette Show every year at Huntingdon (Cambs) and also Americana. I fly a Z28 flag which always feels good. Last year there were quite a few Camaro's (around 7) which was the largest collection I had seen in one place. It was great to talk to other owners.

Hi we try and fit in as many shows as poss.
Like summer nats at Billing, Surrey wheels day is a biggy, Rally of the Giants at knebworth.
Nice to go to the Ace cafe if weather good then onto Chelsea cruise, although its not as good as it used to be
Some of classic shows are good esp Classics on the green at Croxley, always a good showing of yanks and good atmosphere.
Hopefully see some of you guys at the shows.

Better post in here and say hello to Howie, who I'm guessing was parked up next to us at the Corvette Nationals last year.

Maybe if we ask nicely they'll let the Camaro Club have an official invite as a guest club this year?

Hello Mighty, Good to here from you. I love the photo's and the car is looking good. I was thinking the same. There was a good turnout of Camaro's last year. The pontiac's got their own area so why not. It would be good to ask.

The CCCUK nationals are 27/28 JUNE 2009 for those that may be interested. It is held at Brampton race course near Huntingdon (Cambridgeshire). Sunday is the main day when there is a bigger turnout.
