Hi I have just joined and just bought my first Camaro. (looming 40th Birthday and midlife)

Bought from ebay after a lot of thought and questioning of mates with classic american cars, though essentially blind and on faith of the pictures being recent! Due mainly to the huge distance away from home!

After having initial battery issues she is everything I had hoped.

I already have a catalogue for spares as there are a few little bits of the interior that can be improved, though I do want to keep her as original as possible. She has been about a bit, both in the UK and Europe, and there are plenty of receipts and old MOTs to show she has been loved and cared for in the past.

Sadly the rear demister is missing and the air con disconnected (belt missing) but its winter and it doesnt really matter and will probably make her slightly more fuel efficient!

What it boiled down to mainly was that she is blue - a real girly reason to buy a car, but like shoes I just cant help myself!

Lenny

Hi Lenny,

That looks a beauty, I remember seeing it on ebay. Welcome aboard.

What's the background to your ownership? Always wanted one? Saw one and had to have one? Be nice to know.

For me it was reading Motor Trend back in 86 after my dad had been to the States and although I loved Camaro's after reading that it was always my dream car.

let's see some more pictures!
