Hi,

I've brought some parts from a guy on ebay, there are some parts that i dont need and he has offered me £300 cash back for them. But i'm thinking of keeping them and selling them on. Please advice me how much you think there are worth. Items were new, before engine breakin.

Edelbrock Big block Tunnel ram intake
2x Holley 750cmf Carbs
Hot Rod / Rat Rod style Exhaust Headers for Big block ( point up out from an open hood )

Thanks from Luke

if these items are hardly used, and look obviousely new, then i would expect to get more than 300 quid for them
the carbs could fetch about 100 each if they have vac secondaries, more if double pumpers.
the tunnel ram, roughly £150
and depending on the exact type of headers and the material theyre made from, they could fetch anything upto £150.

my opinion?

if these parts look new or nearly new, keep 'em and sell 'em on yourself!

To give you an idea I paid £120 for a single vac secondary Holley 750cfm a month or so back. 500 miles old.

So I would agree with biff :) keep them and sell 'em yourself.

Update

The tunnel ram intake is brand new.

The two Carbs are used but in good condition, but he has said that they are special carbs that only work on a tunnel ram intake.

the carbs may be set up for a tunnel ram, but they WILL work on any intake (chances are they need a powervalve change, and maybe, if vac secondaries, a plug on the vac chamber lid if they have been linked together)
other than that, it will only be a jetting / accelerator pump / shooter issue.

All these mods are simple to reverse, and to be honest, need setting up on ANY engine

Hi, yes carbs are set up for the tunnel ram i.e linked together and they do have vac secondaries. I will try and push him for abit more money back for them, to save me the bother off selling them on.

thanks from Luke
