Ok, I'll bite...
Here's a few from my chequered past...
first car 1972 MkIII Cortina estate, my mum's old car that I tried to do up (badly) passed my test in this too !! rear diff went and just wasn't worth fixing.. I had 80's big hair and everything !!!
move forward a bit, my 1978 transit, again tried to modify, had a 2 litre Capri GT engine, straight through exhaust etc.. two-tone metallic paint, and as many lights as I could fit on it !!!
moving on, next up was my 1st 'proper' car. 1984 Opel manta GTE, rebuild from a write off (my dad's car) and had 400 body kit, big wheels, lowered tarmac springs, big anti-roll bars, Spax shox, I bought a short engine from GM rally specialists Peter Maiden, but never got to finishing the build. Sold this car to get the IROC.
1986 IROC, had a good 7 years as my daily driver with this car. fairly standard except power chip, de-cat and bigger exhaust. Resprayed once, new battery twice, 3 alternators, 2 starters, 2 tps sensors etc...... and went to Austria and back too !!
My Jag XJ6, daily driver after the IROC, brilliant car, comfy quiet and quick enough, but needed alot of money spent all the time, used to eat brakes, wheel bearings, bushes, steering components.
The other proper fun car (which I actually had two of, as I liked them so much) was The Mitsubishi Legnum VR4. 2.5 litre twin turbo V6, 4wd, coilovers, Brembo brakes, very very quick and brilliant sleeper. This car introduced me to trackdays too.. !!
1st black car (got written off when someone ran into the back of me)
2nd white car , with more boost + other goodies
