My car although isn't a 69 camaro, but it is similar set up for PRO Touring. Big swaybars, big wheels, soon to be bigger brakes (corvette brakes), lowered springs/konis shocks, heads/cam and tuned- 6 spd... etc.

Hi Amit
I have a 1979 Z28 that i have gone down the pro touring route with.
Had this car for around 17 years now and it is always evolving.
Just added a Hotchkis suspension package - Makes the world of difference.

Still got a T56 six speed to go in  This is the next project along with digital fuel injection.
That should keep me busy along with the Bumble Bee project

Heres some pics!

Wow.

That is lovely. I love the cage. Is that a ridetech cage?

Where did you get the baer brakes? Import?

Amit

Thanks for your comments

The cage is from competition engineering
I modified the original door bars that were supplied in the kit as they were to high to get in and out of easily.

I imported the brakes direct from Baer - I have a contact in the PR department that helped me get all the right components together then i used "Moving Parts" who are down near Heathrow to import them.
I originally had a Wilwood Dynalite set up on the front that suffered from a catastrophic failure due to a stress crack in the casting.
They were less than helpful when it came to raising a claim with them

Have you posted any pictures of your car?

Si

Thanks for the info.

My car is actually for sale in the classifieds section.

It's too good to modify so happy to sell it and buy a wip/project in time for kick off in April.

At the moment I am planning and collecting parts.

Got a full accuair/ridetech suspension setup. Need a nice ls motor and running gear.

Amit

Just taken a look at your car :o

It looks amazing, hope you manage to sell it.
See what you mean about it being to nice to cut up.

Any particular generation/year you are looking for as the project car?

Si

But gonna change so much it doesn't matter really.
