Hey Neil!

Total cost was about £250 for the rad and 2x 12" fans. About £50 of that was duty coming into the country though.
I ordered it on the 25th October, and it arrived on the 8th November. So about two weeks.

Update on this:

I've spotted where I'm losing coolant from.
The fins near the tank, between the top filler and the trans cooler inlet, seem to be wet and dripping after I've been out for a drive.
I guess I'm going to be looking for a good radiator company to tig it up.

Another issue is that I've never seen/heard the fans cut in, despite the temperatures recently reaching well above an indicated 220°.

My mechanic knows a guy who builds intercoolers and aluminium radiators, so the care will be going to him after pay day, seeing how much it'll be to either just mend the leak, or ideally, modify the rad to fit properly. It's just a touch too tall so it's angled slightly.
I'll just keep her topped up over the next couple of weeks.

She's booked in on Tuesday! :D
This is one gremlin I can't wait to put to bed.
Next on the list is the tie rods, centre link, ball joints, shocks and polybushing her. Just missing the outer tie rods and the centre link right now and then hopefully next month or June she'll have all that lot fitted and I'll get some floor space back.

Now here's fun...
Rad plumbed back in. Repair carried out. The integral trans cooler however decided that the connections to the outside world should let go and she's dumped a load of trans fluid.
Rather than persevere making the built in trans cooler work, I've suggested that as someone's deleted the Aircon in the past, the AC cooler in front of the rad could be binned and replaced with a slim trans cooler instead.
So that's what we're doing. AC cooler out, trans cooler in its place.
If anyone can spot an obvious problem we've missed I'd love to hear it now before we push on! :)

not good about the connections giving up :(

I installed a trans cooler from B&M and it says in the instructions that the cooler should not be the only cooler in the system, it even says it should go after the radiator, not before it. I followed those instructions but i have seen a fair few people have only 1 external cooler for the trans. That was probably no help to you but thought i'd share my experience :)

Cheers,

Ray
