Post subject:  Alternator bracket and headers

Originally the lower alternator bracket if your car has it's alternator on the drivers side has a lower bracket which fits to a boss on the original factory manifolds.

What do you then do if you run headers and need to retain the original alternator position? I know lots of people run headers and wondered what the best solution is or what are the options.

Thanks..

Hi, If you have not solved this.....

I had a bracket made up, and it bolts to the side of the block (at least I think it does - can't remember!). Check out my gallery and you will see a picture of the front end, and you will see the bracket.
