 Post subject: back to engines again

i know ive asked but cant remember, pontiac engines should fit the camaro i take it, ive found a cheap 1971 firebird 5.7 engine hoping it might go, im going round in circles with sorting out an engine, i need to get keen and get on with it, poor old car

cheers for that, ive been tolt it will fit, ive been given a tip tonight that there is a camaro half a mile up the road from me thats been sat in someones back garden for years, i think its a 2nd gen, gonna have a look tomorrow, hope its good for some bits

Small block chev will fit, but the trans bell housing may be different, check first!

ideal cheers, i did not go for it in the end, best way is to stick with mine and re build it, shame chip foose does not live round here :lol: :lol:
