I'm not particularly clued up on batteries. I recently got a new Yuasa battery for my Cadillac which I just swapped with the Camaro's as I may be selling the Caddy soon (though I can't try it yet as I'm waiting for a new regulator and my alternator's in bits). I am not sure if there is much of a danger in putting on a slightly more powerful battery but also not sure if I need to match a battery to the alternator output or something. My current battery is a 72ah 680A (if that's even the right one to begin with) and the new one is 80ah 760A. Thanks guys. :chevy:

As long as the CCA is decent (500 or more) you'll be fine..
