Does anyone know if I will have trouble getting fault codes read on my 4th gen Z28? Does it need a specific type of software or will something generic like Bosch ESItronic read it? I'll have to double check when it comes back from the body shop, but I think being the LT1 engine it will be OBD1. Or does anyone near me have said diagnostic gear which I will quite happily pay for use of with beer tokens?!?! Got ABS and TCS lights illuminating my face at the moment (along with the service reminder) so need to find out what the cause is. I image it will just be a sensor but no idea which... |

I have a OBDII reader and I can get it scan for you. FREE. Just drive it to any where in Mildenhall, Brandon, Lakenheath area and I'll meet you. If you have LT1 93-94 model year it will have OBDI. |

It's a 95 with a LT1 lump, so don't think OBDII will work |

95 is the switch over year so could be ODB 1 or 2. To confuse matters further It could also be ODB 1 with an ODB 2 connector on it If ODB 1 check out this (as posted on another thread) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281004619192? ... 1558.l2649 |

cheers for that I'll keep me eye on it. Anyone used an obd1 to obd2 adapter with a generic code reader before? |
