Hi folks, Did'nt take my recent purchase to start causing grief. First car show of the year, got up cleaned the beauty. Afixed my Camaro Club UK sticker to the back screen. Checked the levels and found the auto fluid low. Looked underneath.....a nice pool of fluid. The box seems to be leaking from the oil pan at the end facing towards the engine or it maybe the input seal. Has anyone tackled these jobs at home? Are they easy or common faults? Any info appreciated. Oh the car is 97 3.8 Camaro auto! |

Funnily enough i have the exact same problem with my 1996 3.8 camaro. Waiting for the parts to come in to a local garage. Apparently on mine it coming from the gearbox selector switch and running round the sump pan before it drips off there. I also have a leak from a rocker cover gasket, the stereo doesn't work, the drivers window doesn't work, needs track rod ends as it's shaking when braking etc. |

Oh the joys of car ownership! I'm going to go round the sump bolts and check for tightness, clean it refill the level and run it and see where its coming from and pray the box hasnt got to come out! |
