I have some extended family up in Cumbria, went to visit them around March, it was definitely not warm! Hopefully we'll have a warm spell in December so you can try out a few things on the heating system.
We are between Sedbergh and Hawes, nice area. We've had what I thought looked like 8 inches of snow but the wife said it was more like 4 inches, why do women have such weird ideas of measurements?

That really is a lovely area! I booked a place in Sedbergh in May as my friends were running the Windermere marathon. The place was the old train station that's been converted to a home. You have some excellent driving roads around there, definitely want to get that 3rd gen on them :) They are really great driving cars and they completely defy the stereotype that American cars don't handle. Mine was sharp, responsive, had an excellent turning angle, all whilst being very comfortable. They really are great cars. You will have a lot of fun driving it there!

Oh right, we are down near Garsdale train station, if you are up here again let us know and you can drop in.

The Camaro does handle well though I've not really pushed it hard, I quite like the way American cars handle, there's a lot of 'anti American' bias to many people over here which is strange as when you park up loads of people start to look at the car or talk about it, it's quite fun. I doubt I'll go back to some boring Euro crap box, I'm growing old disgracefully.

There's an auction about 20 miles away at the weekend which the wife and I intend to get to all being well, some of the items

I don't know how long they have been having this sort of auction, I've lived up here over 6 years and it's the first time I've noticed it advertised, the Invica is damn ugly but I'm taken by it, nothing will be coming home with us as we haven't the money.......well not this year anyway ;)

Seems cheap for a decent condition car of that age... but it is an ugly old thing :?

It's a VERY ugly old thing, 10mpg from what I've read and bigger than a Lincoln. Excellent condition, a couple of small splits to the seams in the seats but nothing that couldn't be sorted in minutes.

There was a 1995 Camaro there too which I wasn't expecting to see, must have been a late addition, it went for about £3,800
