Completely agree with the advice given here

thing is that a T350, T400 or Powerglide has top gear that are all 1:1 ie exactly the same as your Muncie

only piece of advice I can remeber is that the T5 is not a very strong box- unless a "World class" version which are rare

And the muncie vs later Richmond gearboxes have different splines one being 10 spline the other more 26 ?(sorry can't remember how many)
