Did you calculate duties and VAT on top of the price, I could have got you one for a similar price. Wouldnt have been anywhere near £200.

usually if the item is below a certain value there are no chargable duties, but it depends what it is. Car parts from US get 10% and then VAT. And usually customs are cheeky enough to charge this for item cost AND shipping price!!!!! :x

You got lucky if you didnt pay anything, the best on I had was the SLP intake for my 4th gen, was $99 dollars and $50 postage, well didnt pay any duty on that, however I imported about $600 of suspension from UMI, the shipping was $200 by fed-ex and took 2 days, really fast. Then i got a bill from fed-ex after reciving the goods for 88 quid, for customs tax, VAT and UK handling, which wanst too bad, but a bit of a sting after paying them $200 already

Most things are being caught now you pay 3.5% on car parts and shipping and VAT on the lot and most companies will have a handling charge which is no more than £15
