Just wondering what people are getting MPG wise from their 3.8 V6. Any tips for improvement. Cheers

If it's any help at all, I've had 26 mpg out of my V8.
I was being a good boy that day.

If I drive my Z28 the 4 miles to work for a week in the summer I get around 16-17. On a long run to the seaside about 27. My daily driver is a 2.6 V6 Omega, I drive it mostly to work and back as carefully as I can, I get 15-16! It'll do 34 on a long run. It's a lovely car, 17 years old, but it does like a drink. It does have 4 camshafts though but only claims 190 bhp. I suppose it's quick for it's age but vs the Z28 it's a slug. But they are very nice drive and very spacious. A lot more modern engine than the Z28. But I think V6's are a thirsty engine. I keep it because it cost me £200, 2 years, 2 MOT's and nothing all, not even a bulb. Except it cracked a coil pack last winter which was £65 and 30 minutes to replace, that's all I have ever spent on it. I decided that the Camaro does smiles to the gallon (which is definitely true!) and just make sure that I know where the filling stations are! roll on summer.
