Hi I have an original GM 1997 Z28 rear muffler with twin outlets in the garage. It's kind of in one piece and large / heavy so pick up essential. It came with my car, I have no idea when it was taken off except probably in Japan at least 11 years ago before it got imported. Somehow it has stayed with the car? Its 20 years old, but no holes and seems good and solid (but I suspect quiet). We could discuss a price? But ... I got a rear muffler, and tubes for my slp exhaust project the other day new, rear muffler was £48 and 90 degree tubes were £30 bent to order from C M Frost in Wellingborough who I have found to be great? Currently the Z has no muffler, just the cats and one 3 inch pipe, which passed the MOT with one advisory, yes ... noisy exhaust :-) Anyway, it's available and in my garage ... Unfortunately i dont think i'll be down northhampton way any time soon to even have a look at your exhaust that you have do you know roughly what you would want for it though? |

Hi I got the replacement back box and pipes to connect to a centre mount twin tip. That cost quite a lot but fits on the twin pipes just cut short. So I guess all you need is for the 90 bends to be left 18 inches longer? If I knew the one I had was good inside I think it's worth some but I don't know it's history so I don't know. Maybe somone can advise a fair price? I would have a word with Frosts though, they will be helpfull. I would have thought you could get a reasonable one bent up for a good price. Ring Frosts and get back to me if you want mine? T |

ok thanks. i rang frosts last week but they havnt got back to me yet. i guess what i could do is buy a box and then make my own exit pipes. wouldn t be hard you say i just need a couple of 90 degree bends and some straight pipe. I'll see what happens and get back to you if thats ok though |
