On Wednesday amongst other things I am changing the spark plugs on my camaro, apparently this job has been known to take several hours due to the difficulty in access with the LT1 engine, luckily I have use of a ramp to aid me with my troubles, all blessings and offers of luck happily accepted :-)

Good luck indeed! Sounds like you have access from underneath the engine bay which i've heard makes a big difference. When i was doing the coolant flush on the 3rd gen and rolled underneath to get to the bottom hose, i had a pretty clear view of the spark plugs whereas it was a nightmare from the top. Hopefully you'll nail it pretty quick

It involves cutting sockets to fit usually, someone told me gm charge several hours labour as the engine sits so far back under the dash, I can't even see them from under the bonnet bit I'm confident they are in there somewhere :-)

I think yours will be a lot easier to do as you have the LS1

So the drivers side bank wasn't too bad, working from underneath it only took an hour, now removing the starter motor to try and get at the other bank.......
