Not often one of these comes up for sale , the paintwork looks a little tatty on the bonnet and I would want to run the vin through the SLP website to check it's authentic(you would be amazed at how many re-badged Z28's with a bonnet Airbox there are pretending to be an SS) and see what options it has (a lot of them just had an Airbox, exhaust and bonnet) but it's an LS engined car and an appreciating classic http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 1743527291 At £8k or offers it could be a real bargain depending on the spec |

Yeh I looked at it. Like you said a little bit scuffy. Hardly any pics too. I don't know if it's that good a deal. It's a auto. I remember seeing a SS for sale 2 years ago with 70k on the clock but it was mint. At a dealer, a few tasteful upgrades and a manual. £7.5k. You can pick up Auto Z28's, I'm talking LS1's for half this price that are near enough the same car. |

There was a mint 35th anniversary manual as with low miles on flea bay at a dealers for around £12k recently, in a few years time these will be the 4th gen camaros people want that will command the best prices, if the buyer ticked all the options boxes when new they are quite a way from a standard Z28 but I agree the autobox makes it less desirable |

And another one ! http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 1914879615 I wonder if they are standard or had all the boxes ticked ? This one seems to sit a little higher stancewise than mine does so it's either got different rims/tyres or hasn't had the suspension options? , I'm actually thinking about the towbar option now jimbo as I have two mountain bikes to haul about :-) |
