does anyone know of any adapter plates available for the radio to a standard single din in a 4th gen?
i want to change mine and dont think i can easily fit a double din in.

The. American ones are 1.5 din, I have an adapter plate in mine so they are out there somewhere

Being truthful, I had a nightmare finding one that fit. After about three tries, the one that worked was an autoleads one from ebay, it arrived and had about 100 parts to it - you only need about 6 of them - for many gm cars.

Have a look on ebay, if it looks like it has many parts in the picture and the description says it will fit, then you are probably onto a good thing.

Sorry I cant be more scientific!

Iv been looking a bit but don't see any that say camaro yet though.

Yep still got the original cd player stereo.

Only if you can find someone with a 1.5 din hole, I was toying with theidea of getting one as. Mine has an aftermarket one that's a single din and I'm getting a bit ocd about originality in my old age

Lol fair enough. I'd be up for a swap If you wanted. Would be nice to keep original but as my daily driver I want a better stereo.
Although I admit I know where youryou're coming from about keeping original. Mines totally stock from new

Doesn't have an aux input but does have an ipod dock that plays thru it somehow
