Well having made the mistake several years ago of parting with my 4th gen SS as kids and dog made it impractical as a family car any longer, I have just bought a weekend car.... Only collected it this morning, but all seems good so far... |

Alas its on axle stands, as obtaining a new MOT is requiring new calipers and discs at the back. Then Shocks at the front..Ride height on the disco is insane... with another day of ownership complete, still no horrors discovered, so Im hoping at £3,300 I got a bargain |

Fairly limited to be honest. There are a few 'annoyances' to be sorted:Good lookin motor Do you have any plans for it changes/upgrades etc - remote locking not working - wretched Bose radio that only tunes to even digits frequences and being a full Bose looks like a bit of a mare to replace - general service It currently according to the receipt it has a F1 paddle clutch (like Vettle!), which is horribly sharp and judders slightly, so that might be a task too. Mainly I plan to use and enjoy it and spend as little as possible beyond that! I wasn't actually planning to buy another 4th gen, but when I saw I could get a decent condition one with 6 speed manual for £3k, I couldn't resist. I'd like to fit some bigger wheels, but that will rather contrdict the budget desires. |
