Well guys, I've had these wheels for 4 months now and they have been a royal effort to sand the chrome down and get them to a standard to repaint and the poor camaro has been on stands for 2 months as my BMW rims sold pretty quickly...

They are 18" American racing 'rebels' in gloss black with the uniqueness of me removing all the little fake bolt type studs and fibre glassing the small holes up so they are super smooth....what's the thoughts ???

thanks for the comments guys, yeah I will get a high res picture of the befor3e and after, my new phone takes crap quality pictures...and stuck with it for another 2 yrs :(

Nige, they were a bit of a nighmare and one had fought a curb (seller on ebay neglected to tell me how badly) and the chrome was coming off in quite a few places. Lots of hours just spent rubbing them down to a condition i'd be happy with, blending the chrome, copper bonding layer (i think) into the aluminium smoothly. They are by no means perfect, like i wanted and would have had to get the chrome stripped, which I believe is illegal ? I also got a pal to paint them as he works at a paint shop. It's just been too cold at home to try and spray without an oven. Anyhow, it has paid off and i'm happy. Indeed the car should have come out of the factory like that :D.
