Post subject: | MSD opti |
Finished putting the MSD opti in the car. I am now finding the car difficult to start when hot, ie feels likethe timing is out. There is a timing adjuster screw on the body of the MSD unit which is meant to be factory set. I have a funny feeling this is not true. Anybody got any ideas? Regards PC |

not sure if my old man fixed this, the car seemed to turn over a few times before it fired up, but maybe that is because its been stood a while. anyone know if this is normal? this is going to be a learning curve for me (i do bikes not cars mainly, although i did work with rune fjeld on top fuel) |

if it has been stood it will take a while, if bettery is a bit low etc. if its slow on a regular basis, and battery is good but it takes some cranking the opti could be at fault. Even more so if it is worse after bad weather, as they sometimes get moisture in etc. How does it do starting up regularly, and on warm and cold starts ? |
