Hi
I thought I'd drop in and introduce myself and my Camaro.
Me: I've been involved with American cars and Americana in general since 1970 and have owned numerous motors. As well as the Camaro I currently own a '72 El Camino and a '71 Mach 1.
My car: It's a '99 Z28 auto, finished in Pewter and fitted with T-Tops.
Modifications include: SLP cold air induction. Flowmaster American Thunder system. Adjustable panhard rod and greaseable lower track arms. New Diff (Eaton LSD) 3:23 and bearings etc.
It's been recalibrated using Hypertech 32002 Max Energy Programmer, and is protected by a Sigma (Thatcham Cat 1) Alarm/Immobiliser.
Here are some pics, which were taken when it was sitting on Eibach Sportline suspension with a 1½” drop. However, I got sick of clouting just about every speed hump I met, and some of the roads round my area are little better than cart tracks
. Now it's riding on stock-height Moog springs which means driving is more pleasurable although my son reckons it looks like a 4x4
.............not kind. I'll hang on to the Eibach units in case I get too much stick
