:?:
Just been looking over the pics again - is the lettering on the back painted in or are they stickers, like I've spotted on a US site?

On my car the letterining is all self coloured and I'm convinced that the reason so many cars try to tail gate me is to try and work out what the car is.

In France this year, I was asked "which Ferrari is it?" several times.

Lovely looking Camaro.

Arizona - Thats hilarious, I wonder how many people don't actually know what a Camaro is. When out, do your cars get alot of peoples attention? I imagine it can get quite annoying after a while.

Challenge for some is that the typical Gen lV doesn't have a big Chevy logo on it - only on the smallish Camaro bonnet shield and the Z28 plates, all v. small. As the name on the back of mine is self coloured I suspect people don't always notice and realize what they are looking at.

Certainly if you are in the following car the name is almost impossible to read. Hey ho good to keep 'em guessing.

Hi Stuart,

The letters on the back are self adhesive polished stainless steel and they are made to fit perfectly. I'm very happy with them but, theres always a but, they ended up being a little expensive but I do think they are worth it because like you say, nobody ever knows what a 4th Gen is and they do look good IMO.

I got them from emblempros.com in the US. They were half the price of the one's that DH Indusrties sell. They were $37.99 but the shipping was $27.99 which I was dissapointed with after I received them because they only weighed 3 ozs yet they were in a box the sie of a shoebox which I thought was a bit unfair but at least they didn't get damaged. Then I got done £16 for customs and handling charge. So altogeather it was about £60. As I said a little expensive but worth it I think. You can get them in acrilic of different colours if you want which are a bit cheaper I think.

Thanks Gerry

Definitely worth a look then. My Z is red with a black roof. I was struggling with the stickers idea 'cos I couldn't think what colour to go for. :?:

Stainless steel might look good on that colour scheme. Let you know how I get on.

Cheers

Stuart

Gerry,

You're a star! That's my colour scheme, albeit my wheels are the ones to the left (black car).

This what the forum is all about!!
