can anyone tell me whether the light behind the switches is supposed to shine through the switches or the cracks between and below the door pool, dont want to pull the switch cover if I dont have to, think maybe the bulb has dropped.

ALSO my pass side pillar plastic that swoops down next to the dash has slipped inwards away from the dash to windshield section leaving a lip that should go behind the pillar plastic can anyone tell me how to get the pillar plastic off with ease to reposition
