Post subject:  Hi all

well as it says above "hi all" was directed over here from piston heads by maudyz28 (I'm on there as Z28fan)

just purchased a 2000 SS Camaro in black which I'll be enjoying tremendously over the coming months... just swapped out the stock muffler for, erm.... nothing now just have wide open pipes :o  Now it sounds like a V8 should (actually I think it may be even louder than my old  F150 Lighning)

not actually taken any pix yet - hope to do so over the Easter weekend, meanwhile the below are from the previous owner and the ad.

Mine's a Canadian spec (hence km/h) I'm toying with the idea of changing the dials for one from 6litereater - though I'd obviously have to keep the old face to "prove" 130,000 kilometres rather than miles (I know it's bloody obvious when you look at the odometer - but you know how people don't look  )

yeah i know, I have all my MOTs half in KM and half in Miles, oh well.

No I just wondered still strange how my euro goes to 260 km/h and yours only says 240??? Im sure mine over reads by about 5-10 km/h

I toyed with the idea of the 6litreeater dials, but i dont want to take all my gauges off, im not sure if you have to but dont want to get them and then realise I do. You get used to the km/h anyway :)

yes you can get used to it - I had nearly 3 years with a Ford Lightning with kmh... just somehow the 'maro dials seem a little fussier :?:

as for 6ltr they are face off replacements and not overlays (and they fecking expensive too).... they do look great though especially with the bezel

if they are face off replacements then i'll defo give it a miss. The old dials (in mine anyway) are stuck on the the plastic housing, so i can see something getting broken and dont want it to be a dash as they wont be cheap for a replacement im thinking? So km/h will do me haha
