Post subject:  Mods coming soon :D

Well my first post regarding the mods list of parts to go on the 'maro

My stainless steel longtubes just came from the states yesterday :D, these look quality. Im going to go with a full true dual, X-pipe under the axle at the rear
I've already got the LS6 intake sat in my room waiting to be fitted
Just waiting for a free weekend to fit my sub-frame connectors

On the list now is the pipe for the exhaust, and EFIlive to give the ECU a flash to delete the emissions stuff and cats  and another axle to refresh and strengthen and put some 3.42 or 3.73 gears in

Pics to follow and the thread will get interesting next month

haha, well its the first time I got a bit of money, just started my phd after 4 years of uni so im spending some on my car. Plus its first time in 4 years that i have weekends free, as i was working them while at uni :(

apparently its ok, but time consuming. The passenger side has literally 1.5 inch of room to get in. It was bad enough changing the spark plugs and the rear two are right under the bulkhead. I asked some of my American friends and they say its a few hours job and i might have to jack the motor up too, this is after getting the car 2 foot of the floor

like I say, im getting the programmer soon so i can delete all the emissions crap before i put headers and intake on to make sure it runs ok without them before permanently removing it all :)

Too bad you're far away, I'd help you. I've done this header swap so many times, I can do them blindfolded.

EFIlive received, I'll be having a read up about it all tonight :D

Also ordered my stainless steel pipe for the custom under axle true duals, i'm going to be running 2x 15" long 3" bore mufflers though just to quieten it down a little bit, straight pipes would be MENTAL but ill leave a flange before the axle to open cutout and run in front of the rear wheels for track days

Pics to come as I get started
