So far I've spent around $800 all from the US. I'm still looking for nice used one for a set of LS6/243 heads, they're selling them in really affordable price, cheapest one I found is $500, alot cheaper than 500 quid. lol. I'm not looking for big power for now as I'll supercharge mine when I get back in the states.

I gotta get some gaskets/bolts for the build along with coolant fluids/oil and such.

Yeah that bugger is a pain! I broke my original one when I swap my LS6 intake. Lesson learned. I snaked that vacuum line around that OPSU so it won't break again when I swap out my knock sensors out.

Yeah, shipping through military isn't free as most of people here think. I still get charged for shipping however it's not as expensive and I don't charge for her majesty's duty tax as I am not a citizen of the UK.

Yeah lesson learned, the intake wasn't coming and LS1 how too said lift and pull out, so I did, it was tough, then came out easy. They say NOTHING about the sensor. But I briefly read something about snapping it but forgot, until the intake was out and it was flopped over, snapped :( Gutted, luckily after trying all US dealers here in UK and engine builder had one in stock :). Should get it tomorrow. A £60 quid lesson learned

I didn't know if shipping was free or not, or reduced. But a reduced rate and no duty makes all the difference. 25% cheaper product than what I pay. Usually (product + shipping) + VAT + Duty + UK carriage

Yeah, that's what I figured. Maybe when both of our cars are done we can schedule a mass meet for all camaro owners somewhere in the middle of GB so it would fair for everyone when they travel?

sounds like a good plan.... mind you wouldn't the AACI summer nats fit the bill being @ Billing Aquadrome? On a side note is anyone planning to visit the NASC nats in Ipswich August bank holiday?

normally I'm with you with the "week ahead" bit... thing is the NASC nats is the BEST show of the year (obviously all subjective!!) and is a three dayer so rather than take a punt on non-existant hotel room I'll book nice 'n' early to ensure my creature comforts (I don't do tents!!)
