Hi There,

I've a problem with my '95 3.4V6

The Passenger side exhaust manifold has that Gizmo on it that has 3 solenoids which regulate the flow of Gases between the exhaust manifold and the Inlet Manifold/airbox. well Exhaust gases started blowing from the foot of one of the three Solenoids and has melted the casings. Removal and inspection shows the cast base has two visible cracks and it's now un-repairable!

Does Any Body have one of these, Or (Probably better) does anybody know how this thing can be removed, and what else has to be changed/removed to allow the engine to run?

Cheers!
Richard

OK Guys!

It's The EGR valve/solenoid

So Here's a question.....................

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO WITH THE WIRING, That's in the car feeding/reading from the EGR, IF I WANT TO BLANK-OFF THE SYSTEM, AND PUT THE WHOLE THING WERE IT BELONGS!! IN THE BIN!!

Answers would be appreciated!

Cheers
Richard
