Location:Enfield, North London
I've had 26 mpg out of my LS1, mixed M-way and country roads, without trying to be good.
Also had it down to mid-teens being the lead-foot local!

Sounds about right, my 28 mpg was to and from the South of France BUT, I was not hanging around as you might imagine. Wonder what I would have got, apart from bored, if I' d stuck to 50 mph which The powers that be say is the optimism for fuel efficiency?

Car Details:Red, 1995. 4th generation convertible 3.4 v6 with leather interior and LPG kit (for more smiles per gallon i hope ;) lol
Well luckily i managed to fix the problem a while ago now, it was obviously a sensor somewhere because i changed both O2 sensors, temp sensor and air temp sensor and that seems to have fixed it. im back up to about 20-24 mpg now which is a bit more like it!
Still not a lot short of a v8 though so almost wish i had gone for a v8 now

V6 for reasons I don't understand means high MPG,as with my Blazer.
I don't understand but my V8 is more economical than my former V6.
