They fill the arches perfectly, the car even looks lowered.

hahhaha, it is significantly lowered, like 1.5 inch at front and about 0.5-1 inch at rear, might have lifted it since and they scraped a bit and not best setup for drag racing. I have full suspension mods :)

bnc - I have corvettebrake conversion on mine, more to fill the space left with bigger wheels, I had custom brackets made that I mocked up myself. The job would be pretty easy on a lt1, cut the spindle down and then bolt on the adapter and some bigger discs and calipers. You can also bolt on camaro ls1 brakes (calipers are nearly same as vette ones) and put those on the LT1 on 98+ discs with an adaptor too....

Merry Christmas to all of you.
Sorry, haven't been on for a while, my bad. Won't do that again.
FerdiZ28, the wheels on mine are exactly like the ones leaning against yours in your first pic.
And if you should ever want to change your wheels again, please, please give me first refusal on those Torque Thrusts, they look perfect.
Again, thank you all for your input, this seems to be a really great forum. Hope to meet some of you at sometime at some function or other.
MaudyZ28, I had read the story on the disc conversion, more complex than you would initially think. Mine is an LS1, so, not too bad, and I think the front brakes have been upgraded to some degree (grooved discs). Since the wheels are stock the discs are probably original diameter. Anyone know the size of original discs on a '99 LS1 Z28?
