Thanks Ferdi, I didn't relise the 'Camaro' was behind the grill as well. You learn something every day.

That is strange that your intakes are blocked. Mine are completely open and vent upto the radiator and air intake.
Interesting indeed. Definately look factory fit. Am i missing out on some cooling or air intake with them being there? Was this just for UK cars, can anyone comment?

If they are surplus i'll bin them. Toyed with the idea of putting some spotlights in the gaps, the kind of idea I get excited about and then decide against.

the intakes are not blocked. There is a polystyrene piece behind which is the support for the bumper and then a massive metal frame behind so if they were open it goes to nowhere.

If you look close at the front grills they have fins that direct the incoming air upwards. So if you look at your car Ferdi the 'hole' will be open at the top.

Dont forget on these cars the radiator is cooled from the air dam under the front f the car not the gaps in the bumper. The bumper gaps let air up into the engine bay and roughly towards the air intake. However this is not worth anything power wise etc.

If you do the cold air intake mod which involved cutting out the under tray of the air intake then you get a ram air effect with the air from under the car directed by the air dam. I've had a notiable benefit from this :D

^^^^ thats what i said already ! !!!! :) :)

BTW, i have some red front inserts. Free to March Hare if wanted, I got them from XenonMod.com - they were only $0.90 postages and like $6 for the decals. So cheap cheap...too a while to come though
Sorry about that I miss understood.

Thanks for the offer of the inserts but I have already ordered some silver ones to mach the one I have in the rear panel.

Completely agree. I was just saying that there is some airflow through the front grill.
