Hi all,

Yet another query from me!
Can anyone tell me why when I accelerate quite hard and my revs hit around the 4.5k / 5k rpm I get a high pitched whine from the engine, at least I think it’s from the engine!!
It also does it if I hit around the 100mph mark (in a completely safe environment of course ;-) ).
Seems to be slightly worse when it’s in overdrive mode.
I have the 1998 V6 3.8L 4 speed auto.
Otherwise runs sweet as a nut. 
